Organic certification
is a guarantee of security and quality as it certifies regular controls
and strict regulation of production rules.
Ecocert is a
state-approved control and certification agency which is active
in the field to ensure the respect of the norms specific to organic
agriculture.
Ecocert has been operational for over 15 years and is well-established
throughout Europe and the world and is renowned for the rigour and
expertise of the controls carried out by its engineers and technicians.
Moreover the Ecocert logo or reference on the label of organic products
is further proof of this commitment.
Ecocert, in
its role as a certification body, undertakes to ensure that the
technical specification requirements are met during an annual organised
visit and unannounced visits. If the norms are respected, it also
issues a permit to show the operator's undertaking to work with
a control organisation. After control, a certificate is issued to
show that each product complies with the organic production mode
(its validity ranges from 12 to 18 months).
